Boudoir Portrait Information

FAQ:

Why Boudoir?  I have quite a few answers to that question. My favorite is the ego boost a woman has when she sees the images of herself. As almost all of my past clients will tell you, they originally scheduled the session as a Christmas, Valentines, anniversary,or birthday gift for their husband. But ended up with an even bigger gift for themselves…self esteem. Another reason is it’s just plain fun.

Who should do a boudoir session?  Every woman. Any age. Any size. All women are beautiful. I have heard many women say they want to schedule their appointment after a few trips to the gym or tanning bed. And those are the women who have still not made an appointment. Don’t put it off till you are happy with your body. Let me help you learn to love your body just like it is.

Do I have to be nude?  Absolutely not. Most of the ladies I photograph only look nude. It’s easy to fake.

Can I be nude?  You sure can, just as long as the posing is tasteful.

Do you provide hair and make up?  Right now I do not. This is something I want to offer in the near future. But I do not have a hair and make up person yet. Your make up for your shoot should be more dramatic that what you would wear on a normal day.

Can I bring a friend?  Definitely! Your girlfriends know you much better than I do. And they tend to make the session more fun.

Do you provide wardrobe?  No I do not. But you can bring as many changes as you like. And I will help you choose what to wear.

So what should I wear?  That is up to you. A bustier with matching panties and thigh highs or fishnet stockings are pretty standard. Any lingerie that compliments your figure. A matching bra and panty set with your favorite pair of jeans is simple and sexy. Raid his closet for a button down and tie, or his favorite jersey. And don’t under estimate the power of accessories! Over sized jewelry, super high heels, and hats come out beautifully. Use your imagination.

Do you touch up the pictures?  A little, I make minor changes. Like covering acne, bruises, and stretch marks.

How soon after my session can I see the images?  If you had a private session your images will be on line for viewing and purchasing within 2 days. If you had a party your images will be on line for viewing and purchasing within 4 days.

Who will be able to view my images?  Whoever you show them to. Your images will be in a password protected gallery. Only those you give your password to will have access. I do use some images on my website and blog, but only images I have permission to use.

How soon after I order do I get my prints?  4-5 business days. Sometimes longer around holidays.

Do you offer digital files or a CD of the images?  No I do not. I do sometimes post the images I have your permission to share on myspace or facebook and if you have a profile and connect with me I will tag you in them. Then you are free to use them in your profile.

First, where are you located in S. MD?
Second, how much do the sessions cost?
Third, could you give me a price list for the photos?

I would like to do this for my husband’s birthday. It’s not until July 1, so we have plenty of time.

That leads me to my final question. How far in advance do I need to schedule a session?

    Thanks for your time
